Scott Pilgrim & the Infinite Sadness has been my favourite in this series so far (and that is entirely my fault that the others didn't seem as great).

As mentioned in my previous reviews I was enjoying the series but cause the movie had done such a good job at replicating the first book and most of the second they weren't the most interesting books to read.

However, this book is the first that the movie moved away from and I enjoyed reading this so much more. I liked getting to know more about Envy and Todd, they're much more fleshed out in this book and we get to know more about Scott's past.

The interaction between Scott and Knives is also a refreshing scene as we get Scott to finally see him act without being madly in love with someone. It was good to see him not revolving around Envy or Ramona, and instead to actually notice Knives wasn't feeling great. 

Ramona also gets to kick some booty in this volume, which was nice.

Another thing I really liked is how the fight scene between Scott and Todd wasn't just over in one scene but instead spread out throughout the whole book.
